Our Temenos offers thoughtful, ecologically oriented garden and landscape design. Our practice leans toward naturalistic plantings, but also accommodates formal aesthetic where necessary. We prioritize permeable hardscaping to manage storm water, biodegradable materials that are renewable, upcycling where possible, and consider the life-cycle cost for clients and the environment.
We consider all of our projects to be pieces that contribute to the city- and state-wide green infrastructure puzzle.
Working with native plants almost exclusively, you can be sure that our planted areas are of high ecological value. Native plants are those which have evolved to fulfill a role in the local ecological landscape. They provide season specific resources for birds, bees, butterflies, and the benefit of passersby. Our native perennial gardens tend to be inherently low maintenance and are long lasting.
Our portfolio includes green spaces across the nation with virtual design and project management services.
